Vancouver Island West Coast Beach sand Canvas art Print

This was an early piece that I did during art school, and one of the first works I did in oil paint trying to figure out my style. My favorite place on earth and one I have painted multiple times is a place on the northern most tip of Vancouver island called San Joseph Bay. 2 pristine beaches separated by a selection of naturally occurring sea stacks. This is a view of second beach where sand dollars are plentiful and access is only allowed when the tide is low or you have to hike a muddy steep trail to access. This is my happy place. When i was growing up in the wilds of Northern Vancouver island, this place was one we would get a chance to see about twice a year, usually in summer.
